Amazing project started up by former US sailor and engineer John Kellett as a way to tackle the ever-increasing volumes of rubbish finding its way into Baltimore Harbour.
It's just consumed its 1,000,000th pound of rubbish is soon to be joined on his mission by new machines - Professor Trash Wheel and Captain Trash Wheel - as the project looks to role out in California, New York, Hawaii and, eventually, worldwide.
