Real time art gallery

Sail & Anchor from Droga5

Good poster campaign this.

Love the tone of the copy, kind of reminds me of all those Captain Pugwash jokes about Master Bates, Seamen Stains and Roger the Cabin Boy. They look great too.

Driving Miss Crazy 2

This is class. Created by artist Miss Bugs, it's made from 'toy cars which have been incased in poly-optic resin before being ground, polished and tinted with aerosol and silkscreen.'

Hot Chip

At their weird and wonderful best.

Book burning party

'Troy, Michigan couldn't afford to keep its library open, so it scheduled a vote for a tax increase. A strong anti-tax group waged a dominating campaign against it. Posing as a political group, we posted signs around town that said, "Vote to close Troy library Aug 2, book burning party Aug 5." We invited everyone to our Facebook page, adding Twitter, Foursquare, want ads, flyers and more to drive engagement. The campaign became international news as outcry over the idea of burning the library's books drowned out the opposition and galvanized support for the library - which won by a landslide.'

99 robots and me

Lovely illustration by Malo Tocquer. I'm still looking for the 'me' character though.

PES

This guy is so good.

His stop-frame animations are packed full of humour and imagination and are so wonderfully executed.

Whatever's comfortable

I quite like this. Nothing really happens but it's well shot and I find it quite funny. Not to mention the main character's deadpan performance which seems to fit perfectly with the tone of the ad.

Teeny tiny magazine airbag

What a great idea.

A Metro Trains PSA

And a very catchy one at that.

Hey Mr Tally Man, tally me banana

Is this the weirdest clip YouTube has to offer

The internet is undoubtably full of the weirdest and whackiest shit you could hope to find, you just have to know where to look.

Or you could wait to have some of it sent to you.

Like this.

Smiths lyrics as Penguin book cover

All gear, no idea

To promote their new line of NEX cameras, Sony Australia have created this really funny series of ads titled 'DSLR Gear No Idea' which mock those users that think they know what they're doing just because they have all the latest tech.

You know who you are.

And here's the individual executions.

Gloam

Ignore the simplicity of the story and instead marvel and the sheer beauty of the animation.

The character design and skin texture of the main character, for example, is completely stunning.

MTV European Music Awards 2012

Created by German animation and graphic studio Sehsucht. It's rather good.

New Wrangler print campaign has me confused

Here's the ads...

Get it? I don't. What's being an animal got to do with wearing Wrangler jeans? I'd love to see the creative brief, it may go some way to shedding a bit more light.

On a positive note, I do love the photography however confusing the content.

Christmas at Morrisons

I like this ad.

It's a real departure from their usual efforts in that there seems to be a real creative hook within it.

I like the art direction and the script - they've really tapped in to the truisms of preparing for the big day. I like the way it's shot too. In fact, I think there's much to be admired here.

Pizza. Remember the word, we sell pizza.

This is genuine. No really, it is.

And the thing is, I can be as snobby as I like about how unbelievably awful it is but the fact is that with this video currently going viral all over the internet, it's probably done wonders for them. And after all, isn't that the point of advertising?

It's a horrible thing to have to admit to but it's true.

Destination Hollywood

80's movies as holiday posters. Any one fancy a trip to Delta City? Thought not.

McCafe

Really like this. Simple but beautifully executed.
