Superhero squirrel

Here's a lovely picture of a squirrel...

And here's what a little imagination and some Photoshop skills can do...

I think the Batman and Thor ones are my personal favourites.

"My superhero costs more than your superhero"

Now that we know how much it would cost to be Batman, how about someone works out how much it would cost to be Iron Man?

Oh, you already have? Of course you have...

Durex Performer

A couple of months ago I blogged about a Durex ad which had been created for Father's Day, an ad that I thought was excellent.

Well, here's another. It's not quite as good in my opinion but it still made me smile.

Yahoo! Sports

Yahoo! Sports have released a new ad campaign for the London 2012 Olympics, featuring some absolutely magnificent artwork by Charis Tsevis.

PR - what a load of tosh

Amazing satirical take on PR and the Olympic games, brilliantly performed by the wonderful Jessica Hynes.

The cost of being Batman

Why do I like things like this? They're so pointless, worked out by people with way too much time on their hands. Completely ridiculous. Still...

Everything Changes

Music video from Eytan and The Embassy - 18 costume changes, 1 world record, 0 edits.

Something disgusting for a Friday

I have no idea if this is a genuine ad or not, I think it probably is.

Superheroes as manatees

I meant to blog these images yesterday but better late than never.

What a wonderfully random idea.

And while we're at it, here's another lovely illustration combining all the main villains from Cristopher Nolan's Batman trilogy.

The Mill

There's some mighty fine work in here.

Refact

Making phone bills interesting...

"Refact is an independent service concept for visualizing phone bill data. Users  upload their monthly bills in PDF format. The bills are then instantly analyzed to provide  relevant information for evaluating phone contracts in a visually appealing way. With Refact, subscribers can measure their actual use and determine whether their contracts  fit their needs, something that the service providers don't necessarily always want to make available. In the featured case here, Matt's average consumption is 4.16 hours per month, whereas he contracted for a 10-hour deal…"

8-bit Trip

I'm a little surprised that I haven't come across this before, judging by the ammount of hits it's received on YouTube I'm assuming it's been around for a while.

In fact, its creators, Rymdreglage, are currently working on a sequel. If that's going to be anything like this one, it should be well worth a view.

Gallop

A beautiful way to tackle an ugly disease.

"Gallop is an enchanting, ground-breaking film, directed by BAFTA nominated film director Michael Pearce. Gallop has been developed and launched by Shift.ms, a web-based charity for people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) and has already been shortlisted for Best Short Film at this year's Rushes Soho Shorts Festival. The spellbinding film featuring Hollyoaks actress, Holly Weston, has been created to help better convey the impact of a diagnosis with MS, the most common neurological condition affecting young adults. It uses narrative to explore the life-changing event of diagnosis through a compelling love story rather than solely focusing on the disease."

Sp*rs fans look away

Ever since that wonderful day in 2006 when half the Sp*rs squad came down with food poisoning due to the Upton Park dinner ladies serving a rather dodgy one, I've had a special affection for lasagne. Us Gooners still sing about it in fact.

This, however, must be the most special lasagne ever designed, and I use the word designed intentionally.

German design house, Korefe, have created this beautiful and genius edible cook book on how to make the perfect lasagne, with all typography and imagery brilliantly carved in to the pasta dough itself.

It really is a great piece of work and well worth a view, unless you're a scummer of course. ;-)

Reality sucks

Not as much as that film. Funny ad though.

Slice a water melon with rubber bands

And do it in super-mega-slo-mo. I love this.
