PLBR recruiting

We've had a good year.

So good, that we're now in the middle of recruiting talented bodies to help us grow even more.

And what better way to attract candidates than with a cool piece of creative?

So that's what we've done and here it is...

Evening the score

Last year I blogged about a Lucozade campaign, claiming it was ridiculous and desperately trying to look cool.

Comments I still stand by.

However, never let it be said that I'm not a fair man. As a result, I felt it was only fair to write another blog on a Lucozade campaign, and this one I actually like.

It's for Lucozade Isotonic, is clearly geared towards the Olympics taking place later this year and features British atheletes such as Mo Farah, Phillip Idowu and Louis Smith.

They're well shot, well written and actually get me in the mood for an event that, unlike everyone else it seems, I really don't care for all that much. Does it make me want to go out and a) buy some Lucozade Isotonic or b) do any form of exercise? No, it doesn't. But it does make me satisfied from a creative point of view and, having tasted Lucozade Isotonic, that's really all it was ever going to do.

Consider the score even.

Geek vs. Nerd

Take your pick...

Smartphones and cigarettes

Sounds like a good name for an album but is in fact the title for this rather insightful little cartoon.

Is it wrong that I can really relate to frame 1?

Hello

It's amazing what you can produce when you have way too much time on your hands.

Lionel Ritchie's 'Hello' gets a new video - it sure beats the 'blind-woman-fashions-deformed-clay-head' of the original.

iPoo

Yeah, well so do I, but I'm not paying over the odds for the privilege.

If you'd like to, however, you may find this latest creation from designer Milos Paripovic appealing.

Not sure who's responsible for the copywriting but I reckon it could do with some work.
